The McCloud Book Gallery is proud to
represent Shasta region fine artists, as well
as artists of the greater American West.  We
feature original art at affordable prices

Among the artists we represent are:
Bruce Anthony
Bruce Anthony is a resident of Gazelle,
CA and has lived in the area for thirty
years.  He is intimately acquainted with
the topography of Siskiyou County, and
finds his artistic inspiration in the beautiful
scenery around him.

Bruce earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts in
painting at the Pacific NW College of Art in
1984.  He has shown extensively in
northern California and Oregon.  His
works are in many private collections in
the Bay Area, Medford, Boston, Los
Angeles and elsewhere.

Our current show features painter Anne
Kincade, and includes Anne's muscular
paintings of the historic McCloud lumber
mills  Anne's show will run through June,
2007.

Martha Leibert

A talented watercolorist, Martha
specializes in the fine detail of
Victorian-era buildings such as those
found in McCloud.
Ann Butte
A resident of Jacksonville, Oregon, octogenarian Ann
Butte is an accomplished primitivist whose paintings
have ranged from near at hand subjects such as the
Oregon coast to documenting her trip to England.
The detail in her work is fabulous.

New Artist!
Eugene (Youquing) Wang

We knew instinctively that we liked Eugene
Wang's work, but he was the one who pointed
out why the subject matter likely appealed to
us.  Books, art.  Art, books.  The McCloud
Book Gallery.  It seemed obvious once he
made the connection for us.
A native of China, Eugene studied art in
Florida before accompanying his wife to her
job at Stanford University.  His still lifes are
composed of symbols of Asian and European
artistic traditions.  Eugene stresses what
each school has to learn from the other and
how he draws on both.

Eugene's work will be on display and for sale
at the MBG beginning in June and
throughout the summer of 2007.
