Directions to McCloud, California and the Book Gallery McCloud is just off Interstate 5, on the route between San Francisco and Portland.  The town lies midway between Redding and Medford, Oregon.   Turn right onto Hwy 89 East at the McCloud turnoff, just before the town of Mt. Shasta.  Continue for 10 miles to the left turn into the town of McCloud.  Turn left at the stop sign, drive two blocks, and turn right on Main Street. The Book Gallery is at 230 Main Street, on the left hand side of the street, in the historic McCloud River Mercantile Building.
