The Siskiyou Trail, by  Richard H. Dillon.  The story of the Hudson's' Bay
Company route to California and the trappers, mountain men and settlers
who followed the trail.

Southern Pacific route in the Shasta region.

Dear Mad'm, by Stella Walthall Patterson.  An 80-year-old with "young
legs" takes up residence alone in a cabin on the Klamath River, where she
has numerous adventures!  This is her story of a year in this beautiful,
