| The McCloud Book Gallery is an independent, locally owned bookstore and art gallery. We are located in the historic McCloud River Mercantile Building in McCloud California at the foot of dramatic 14,162 foot Mt. Shasta. We stock fiction and non-fiction, craft books, outdoor guides to the Shasta region, history of the region, children's books and general literature. We represent local artists of the Shasta region, primarily fine art painters, and feature original art at affordable prices. We offer yarn and knitting supplies, some art supplies, fine pens, stylish reading glasses and artistic greeting cards. Come in and browse! The MBG also fills orders online, by phone, fax and mail, with personal attention to your reading needs. We specialize in hard to find vintage and collectible books.
